Motors management system PBM
Motors and generators protection and control relays
PBM is a monitoring, control and protection system, which brings an integral solution to motor control centers. With the PBM electronic system, it is much easier to protect and manage motors without additional switches of push-buttons, thus obtaining a high level of efficiency and substantial saving costs.
PBM is designed to be integrated in SCADA applications by using RS485 communication and RTU Modbus protocol, while allowing the configuration of outputs, LEDs and alarm signals which helps to define the system according to the control requirements.

These relays are used for submersible pumps as well as for surface pumps or for other typical applications that require monitoring such as belt drives, ventilators, conveyor belts. By using the external display plug-in module with size of a Ø22 mm push button, as optional accessory, the relay status can be seen and reset from the exterior of the electrical panel board. The module has the appropriate LEDs to signal the trip cause and a reset push-button.

Designed for single phase motors with current from 3 to 16 A and higher, it has precise motor heating and cooling memory by reproducing its thermal image. These relays are used for submersible pumps as well as for surface pumps or for other typical applications that require monitoring such as belt drives, ventilators, conveyor belts.
Pumps protection and control panels
Single phase panels CBM
The single-phase protection panels are made based on monitoring the undercurrent, which decreases in the critical situation when pump is dry running. The reduction of consumed current is measured by the PS-R electronic relay installed in the protection panel, thus, when the preset undercurrent value is reached, it switches the pump off. Beside the PS-R electronic relay, the protection panel includes a circuit breaker 1P+N, a contactor, LEDs and an on/off switch.
Three phase panels CBT
The three-phase protection panels are made based on monitoring the value of the cosine of phi (cos φ) of the phase angle between the voltage and the intensity of the current, which oscillates from a value slightly below 1 for a full load operating pump, to almost 0 when it is dry running. The significant fall of cos φ is monitored by the PF-R relay installed in the protection panel, meaning that when it falls beneath the adjusted value, it shuts down the pump. Beside the PF-R electronic relay, the protection panel includes a circuit breaker 3P or 3P+N, a contactor, LEDs and an on/off switch.
Three phase panels CBS with soft starter
CBS protection panel with progressive startup and shut-down is equipped with an ES soft starter to prevent problems caused by sudden start-ups and shut-downs. Protection against dry running is provided by a PF-R relay that monitors the value of cos φ and shuts down the pump when it falls below the selected value. The panel also includes a circuit breaker 3P or 3P+N, a contactor, LED’s and an on/off switch.
