MISTRAL busbar trunking system

The MISTRAL busbar trunking system is used for lighting and low power distribution in industrial, commercial and service buildings. The nominal ratings for this busbar system are 25A or 40A.

The busbars are made of electrolytic copper, while all along their length they are fully insulated by a halogen-free sheet made of self-extinguishing thermoplastic material. The casing, used as earthing conductor as well, is available either made of hot galvanized steel or hot galvanized and plasticized steel (white color RAL 9016), being the latter particularly suitable where resistance to chemical agents is required. Additionally, different colors are available on demand.

The IP55 protection degree is ensured without any additional accessory. The available configurations are with 2, 4 or 6 conductors within a single casing, and with 2+2, 4+2, 4+4 or 6+6 conductors within a double casing, the two circuits being separated along the whole length.

The MISTRAL busbar trunking systems are available in two versions, with “standard plug-in outlets” or with “interlocked plug-in outlets”. The version with “standard plug-in outlets” is equipped with orange color plug-in outlets, preinstalled along the length in the number of 2, 3 or 6 on a single side for the single casing element, or 2+2, 3+3, 6+6 on both sides for the double casing element. The version with “inter-locked plug-in outlets” is supplied with white and /or red color plug-in outlets, preinstalled along the length in the number of 2, 3 or 6 on a single side for the single-casing element, or 2+2, 3+3, 6+6 on both sides for the double casing element. Different number of plug-in outlets, or different distances between the outlets are available on demand for both versions.

Feed units, end covers, flexible elbows and mechanical accessories designed for suspending and fixing the lighting lamps are available to complete the MISTRAL system.

SYSTEM busbar trunking system

The SYSTEM busbar trunking system is used for medium power distribution in industrial, commercial, residential and service buildings. One of the most common applications of this busbar trunking system is in the rising mains of offices and residential buildings such as skyscrapers for energy distribution on the numerous floors.

The SYSTEM busbar trunking system is available in versions with aluminum or copper busbars having 100A,160A, 250A or 400A nominal current ratings. The casing is made of hot galvanized steel sheet, with two profiles assembled together which give to the final product a good rigidness and mechanical strength. The standard product is offered in the 3P+N+PE version with the neutral and the phase having the same cross-section and the casing used as earthing conductor, or in the 3P+N+Fe+Pe version with the earthing having the same cross-section as the phase. The aluminum busbars are tinplated along the whole length, while the copper busbars can be tinplated or silver-plated on request. The standard protection degree of the SYSTEM busbar trunking system is IP55 without any additional accessories, while, on request, the casing can be painted in different colors.

A large range of components and accessories are available to satisfy various applications. The tap-off units are supplied only on one side of the elements, with a 1m standard distance (3 tap-off units on each 3m element). Elements with special number of tap-off units are available up to a maximum of 6 tap-off units for each 3m element. The tap-off boxes are available with plastic or metal casings, empty or with fuse holder and suitable for automatic switches and industrial sockets.

IMPACT2 busbar trunking system

The IMPACT2 busbar trunking system is used for high power transport and distribution and is especially suitable in the electrical switching rooms both as a transformer-switchboard or switchboard-switchboard connection and as the main power distribution system for the industrial, commercial and service buildings.

The IMPACT2 busbar trunkings system is available for nominal current ratings from 400A to 5000A with aluminum busbars and in nominal current ratings from 630A to 6300A with copper busbars. The nominal current ratings are related to the operation at a maximum ambient temperature of +40°C for aluminum busbars, respectively at a maximum ambient temperature of +50°C for copper busbars. On request, are available versions for higher current ratings and for higher ambient temperature.

The standard product is offered in the 3P+N+PE version with the neutral and the phase having the same cross-section and the earthing cross-section more than 100% of the phase cross-section. Also available are the 3P+N+Fe/2+Pe version with a dedicated earth conductor having the cross-section equal to 50% of the phase cross-section, the 3P+N+Fe+Pe version with a dedicated earth conductor having the cross-section equal to 100% of the phase cross-section and the 3P+2N+Pe version with the neutral having the cross-section equal to 200% of the phase cross-section.

The IMPACT2 busbar trunking systems are made with sandwich compact technology, the busbars are compacted without any space inside the casing and are fully insulated using a halogen free polyester sheath with a thermal class 150°C or 155°C. This technology guarantees the products high performance in relation to voltage drop values even in high current. The aluminum busbars are tinplated along the whole length, while the copper busbars can be tinplated or silverplated on request.

The standard painting of the casing is in light grey color RAL 7035. The standard protection degree is IP55, while, on request, IP66 can be provided only for busbar trunking systems without tap-off units, used only for the electrical power transport. For outdoor installations an extra protection is used.
