The ELSM and ECSM air-break contactors have been designed first and foremost for switching motors, electric ovens and pumps, and respectively for switching capacitor banks. Thermal overload protection, auxiliary contact blocks or other accessories are available as additional options for equipping these contactor types.

Modular contactors for electrical installations

The ELSI contactors are capable of switching loads from 20 A up to 63 A and have been designed for use with ohmic and low-inductive loads typically found in residential installations – heating appliances, boilers, lighting circuits, etc. All contactors can accommodate suitable sealing covers. If the ambient temperature exceeds 40°C, the use of spacer modules between contactors is highly recommended.
Heavy duty contactors

The heavy-duty air-break contactors type ESü have rated currents from 100 A up to 630 A and are ideal for use particularly in raw materials processing systems, metallurgy and chemical industries, in conveyor plants and ship building, and also in machine engineering applications on account of their design and exceptional reliability. Together with thermal overcurrent trip units, which are mounted separately, they can be used as motors protection switches.
Vacuum contactors

The contact system of a vacuum contactor is hermetically sealed and switches in a vacuum without affecting the environment. This prevents not only the occurrence of electric arcs and sparks, but also the influence of the ambient atmosphere on the contact pieces. The contact systems are actuated by electromagnetic drives. The EVS vacuum contactors are suitable for all applications that involve switching DC and AC loads.
